ATFX charges low commissions, spreads are competitive and there are no deposit fees.

 

ATFX fees are competitive, especially for higher account holders. Premium account holders pay commissions as low as $2.50/lot per side while Edge account holders pay $3/lot/side. Standard account spreads start from 1.0 pip for the benchmark EURUSD and no commissions are charged.

A withdrawal fee of $5 is charged if the withdrawal amount is less than $100 otherwise; both deposits and withdrawals are free.

EU clients are charged an inactivity fee of €10 (or20% of account balance) per month from accounts that do not trade for up to 12 months.

Account Opening

Click on ‘Start trading’; choose your preferred language and then, fill the 6-page account opening form to create a new account. You are required to provide inter alia your personal details, source of funds, trading experience and knowledge.

Upon completing the form, you will wait for approval after which you make a deposit, download the trading platform and commence trading.

What is the minimum deposit at ATFX?

The minimum deposit required from EU clients is $200 while that of UK traders is £500/€500/$500. Global clients can open accounts with a minimum of $250.

Account types

 

ATFX offers several account types which depend on the clients’ country of residence. The account types are as follows:

Standard account: This is the major account type available to all clients. UK clients can either choose ‘standard CFD account’ or ‘Standard spread betting account’; minimum spreads start from 1 pip for UK clients while EU clients’ spreads are from 1.2pips. International clients are offered spreads starting from 1.8 pips and different leverages for specific minimum deposits. E.g. an account with leverage of 1:400 has a minimum deposit of $250, 1:200 has a minimum balance of $500 and 1:100 has a minimum balance of $1,000. The maximum leverage for UK and EU clients is 1:30.

Edge account: This account is only available to EU and UK client clients. The minimum deposit required is $5,000. UK clients are offered spreads from 0.6pips and no commissions are charged. But, EU clients are offered spreads from 0.5 pips and charged a commission of $3 per side for each lot traded.

Premium account: This account is only available to UK clients. The minimum deposit is $/€/£10,000. Account-holders enjoy free VPS, spread starting from 0.1 pips and personalized coaching with ATFX’s Chief Market Strategist. Commission of $2.50 per lot per side is charged on every trade.

Professional account: This special account type is reserved for experts who have proven knowledge of trading securities as well as trading experience and/or huge portfolio. Clients who are qualified can apply for professional accounts or upgrade their existing accounts.

Demo accounts: This practice account is available to all clients. It comes with $50,000 virtual funds for trading without risks.
